Wesley Ward, DNP, APRN
Dr. Wesley Ward, DNP, APRN is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. He graduated from the University of Central Arkansas with a Bachelor’s and Master’s of Science in Nursing and from Saint Louis University with a Doctor of Nursing Practice in 2011. Wesley has been practicing as a Family Nurse Practitioner since 2007 and has spent that time working in family practice. Wesley has served in non-profit clinics, primarily serving low income and the underserved and has a passion and heart for people strongly believing that everyone deserves excellent healthcare, regardless of insurance status. Past nursing experience includes post anesthesia and emergency room care. He is also the author of “Medication Possession and Gylcemic Control among Uninsured Type 2 Diabetics”; he has an avid interest in diabetes as well as respiratory diseases such as COPD and Asthma. He is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society for Nursing.
Wesley is a proud husband to his wife, Elise and the proud father of twins, Cora and Davis. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends as well working with the youth at Woodland Heights Baptist Church where he teaches a youth small group. His greatest desire is to save lives through nursing and to save souls through faith!
